XT-R Package

The YXZ1000R SS XT-R stands out with a range of stylish, high-spec components. Advanced FOX® Dual Spring suspension, beadlock rims wrapped in Yamaha-exclusive Maxxis® Carnage tires, and enhanced underbody protection come standard. Upgraded centerline lighting provide enhanced visibility. A custom front grab bar mounts a heavy duty WARN® winch package with integrated driver controls while the composite suntop, high-quality painted bodywork, contrast-stitched seats, center-mount mirror and auxiliary lights complete the package.

Advanced Six-Speed Sequential Transmission

With its industry-exclusive six-speed Yamaha Auto Shift Technology, drivers can choose between three transmission modes through a convenient dash-mounted dial: AUTO a fully automatic mode for more relaxed driving; SPORT AUTO a more spirited, fully automatic mode that holds gears longer and shifts at higher RPMs; and SPORT SHIFT a traditional manual sport shift offering drivers full control of shift points through steering-column-mounted paddle shifters. Additionally, a low first gear improves low-speed performance, while the enhanced close-ratio gearing helps keep the engine in its optimal power band.

Fully-Adjustable FOX® Shocks

The YXZ1000R SS XT-R features FOX® 2.5 Podium® RC2 shocks with dual-spring-rate adjustable crossovers. All four corners are fully adjustable spring preload, crossover adjustment, rebound and both high- and low-speed compression damping with a huge 16.2 inches of front travel and 17.0 inches at the rear, along with exceptional ride quality, tuneability and handling.
